“Pain is the price of love. We agree to pay it whenever we open our hearts. Every hello comes with the knowledge that one day there will be a goodbye. Every first kiss comes with the certainty that there will one day be a last. And yet even though we knew all love ends in sorrow… even though we know that price… we pay it. We pay it again and again and again. We pay it because it makes life worth living. We pay it because love… love is always worth it.”

““Happy Valentine’s Day, Zoe…”
So basically I thought I could start a whole project at 10PM and get it done before midnight like, am I stupid? Am I a fucking idiot? Lmaooo
Anyway, here it is, with like…no proper lighting or shadows to be...

Possible Ending Theory?

i don’t really post but i just had a thought/theory that i can’t get out of my head — what if, in one of the last chapters of the book, everyone mc loves really does die? there’s no restart checkpoint — rheya kills them and mc manages to escape, but the chapter ends. there’s no hope and there’s a total freak out by the whole fandom.

i don’t know if they’d actually end the chapter there bc people probably wouldn’t play the remaining ones afterwards, but if they did:

in the next chapter released, it would really seem like there mc had lost and there was no point of trying anymore but still, for revenge of her friends, decides to do research and realizes that her powers or some object can allow her to time travel back to the past and make a series of choices that could change everything thus, finally ending the book, giving it similar endless summer type of vibes.

some options i was thinking about for the endings could be:

- sacrificing herself to save everyone/the world

- saving only her li/and friends and hiding away in some other dimension or something as their world ends

- traveling back in time and stopping rheya from becoming the first, meaning vampires would never come into existence. mc doesn’t meet kamilah, adrian, jax, etc because they’ve all passed, (or in jax’s case, grew really old) and possibly lily (if she does, they never got close). but in light of this choice, we get to see the gang grow old and live out w/ their happy endings.

i don’t think it’s impossible to rule out unless something was said about this in previous books??

(spoilers if you watch a certain netflix tv show):

idk if anyone has said this theory yet, but i just finished the latest part of chilling adventures of sabrina and everyone she knew died and the only way to save them all was by time travel!

it just gave me idea that it could happen in bloodbound too.
